The Incident At Lintel Lake In 1981

INTRODUCTION

There have been a lot of strange phenomena associated with encounters with UFOs. Some of these rival such things as a deaf person being able to hear after being struck by lightning, or a person involved in a tragic, life-threatening accident acquiring special, enhanced traits such as being able to predict the future or developing special music skills.

A UFO case involving a 55-year-old man from Poland is similar to these types of occurrences. He encountered a strange, flying craft in 1981 near Lintel Lake. The location is near the Germany city of Rheda-Wiedenbruck. He would also come into contact with alien beings aboard this other-worldly craft.

AN ABDUCTION BENEFIT

After our witnesses' strange encounter, he would become a world renowned artist. The researcher who investigated the case claims that it was one of the most bizarre he had ever heard of, but after due time, came to deem the eyewitness' story as authentic. It is not known for certain who compiled the original 16-page account, but it was forwarded to the researcher who sent me the story.

The strange event began in the middle of August in 1981 at about 5:00 AM. The eyewitness took a nature walk early in the morning, something he often did, using his bicycle for part of the journey. He would regularly visit the small lake of Lintel, which was 4 miles from his home in Rheda-Wiedenbruck.

Arriving at the lake, he looked over at a small shed on the banks of the lake. This structure was often used by sailors. On this particular morning, he saw someone near the shed. He thought it was someone getting in some early fishing.

UNKNOWN OBJECT SEEN

Soon, he saw an extremely large flying object. He guessed that it was from 100-150 yards away, and about 50 feet in the air. He could hear no sound coming from the object. He could not see any windows in the craft, which looked like an upside-down plate.

The witness thought possibly that the craft was going to crash into the lake, and he began moving in that direction. He also wondered if the fisherman also observed the unusual flying object. He looked back toward the shed.

He saw the fisherman walking away from the shed with several men. They were dressed in what looked like "sparkling" suits of some kind. There had been, at times, groups like America's EPA and/or game wardens in the area of the lake, and just possibly this is what he saw near the shed. Maybe the group had caught the man poaching, and was taking him into custody.

Turning back to the UFO, he could see it slowly moving toward the harbor. The witness' bicycle had lost its chain, and he could only walk. As he continued to watch the UFO, he clearly saw it land without a sound on the field near the sailors' shed. Oddly, the craft was sitting perfectly level, although the ground was much at a grade.

Now with a closer look at the object, he estimated that it was from 8-10 ft. in height, and at least 30 ft. across. As the moved closer to the shed and the area where the UFO had landed, he saw a sign that said: "Sailors Area, No Strangers Allowed." It was at this point that he saw an elderly woman and her dog at the back of the landed UFO.

He also discovered that the UFO was not really sitting on the ground, but hovering just above it. The lady's dog walked underneath it and back. In his mind, he asked: What was this strange object? He thought that possibly it was some type of new modern travel method.

As he and his bicycle moved along the grounds, the woman passed close to him. She appeared to be heading to a nearby gate. Our witness decided he would go into the UFO and inquire about passage on the craft. He thought the old lady was there for the same reason.
