During the month of March, Compuserve Ufology section leader David C. Brune, of the New Age forum, posted a message asking members for ideas on contacting the aliens in peaceful manner while making positive contact in the form of photographs or visual recording media.
I suggested that a group approach be taken utilizing the methods of other organizations, but on a larger scale. Other groups have attempted telepathic contact, but with limited success. It is possible that a large number of groups concentrating on the same subject at the same time could be used to attract the attention of the aliens.
From this point after many discussions with various persons a plan for executing a Group Telepathy Project has evolved. For the sake of time, the Group Telepathy Project will now be referred to as GTP. A large number of people have shown a great interest in this project including people from across the United States, Canada, South America, and the United Kingdom.
Various concerns and suggestions have been voiced. The largest concern is of the safety of the members. It has been decided that there is a possibility of being abducted during this experiment. For this reason all participants will be warned of this possibility before the experiment is continued.
The following is a outline of the major points of this project and a suggested order to be followed:
NAME: GTP, Group Telepathy Project
PROJECT: Group Telepathy Experiment #1
DATE: June 12, 1993
DESCRIPTION: The GTP is an experiment in telepathic communication with other intelligent life forms. It is presupposed that our planet is being visited by intelligent creatures of unknown origin and that by and large their communication method is telepathic in nature. For ease of communication on the part of this outline, I will refer to theses creatures as aliens.
Basically the experiment will consist of small groups of interested individuals that will meet together on the night of June 12th. These groups will concentrate on a given topic and center the bulk of their attention towards the aliens. Video, camera and audio equipment will be present in an attempt to record any events that may occur.
PURPOSE & GOALS:
1. To make telepathic contact with the aliens.
2. Make verbal contact if they make themselves known at the location.
3. Make visual contact including a permanent record such at video or photography.
4. Give the aliens positive evidence that an intelligent initiative is being taken by the life on this planet to make contact.
5. Give the aliens a sign that our people are getting organized and that a state of international communication and organization has begun.
PROCEDURES:
1. Safety must be our foremost concern. Every precaution that can be taken to ensure that all members remain safe will be taken. All members will be informed before the beginning of the experiment that current data suggests that an abduction of some or all members could occur. Special warnings will be given to those that have never been abducted before. We have no intention of inducing the trauma that an adult would conceivably go through from a first time abduction at an age after an understanding of the current reality of ones environment had developed.
2. The majority of the members of this project are users of the computer service Compuserve. For this reason all planning meetings will be held in the Formal Conference Room of the New Age forum under the Ufology section. Members may also be notified of upcoming experiments through Electronic Mail on Compuserve.
3. Leaders will be selected from each host town or region. That person will lead their own group through the experiment and will report any findings back to Robert Shepherd, coordinator or David C. Brune, section leader of the Ufology section in the New Age forum.
4. Groups will meet prior to the June 12th run at the discretion of the group leader. I am suggesting that a meeting occur with the leader and group members so that questions and concerns can be aired and then discussed by the group leaders before the first run.
5. Once all members have been informed of all dangers and those that no longer wish to participate are away from the area of the experiment, meditation on the given subject can begin.
6. One or more persons should be operating cameras and watching the sky for any craft that may approach.
7. I strongly suggest that any people not involved with the project that may come into the area be advised of what is happening and be asked to leave if they do not wish to participate.
8. Meditation on a single statement will occur during the time of the experiment. At this time I suggest that the statement read as follows, "We know what your doing, come." The meditation should be centered toward the aliens. Meditation will continue for approximately two hours depending on the result of the experiment.
9. In case of bad weather, the experiment will be moved indoors or to a partially covered structure to protect the members from the elements.
The outline above contains the general ideas and thoughts of how to run the Group Telepathy Project experiment. Things in this outline may change as ideas concerning this project evolve. Is there any evidence that such could possible be the case? Surprisingly, yes. However, the evidence is not entirely conclusive. Most of the evidence exists as a document that surfaced in 1994 as well as testimony from an alleged former husband of Monroe.
For example, the "Marilyn Monroe Document" is a CIA document of a wiretap transcript dated August 3, 1962, just shy of Monroe's death. Although Slatzer's claim of being married to Monroe cannot be proven conclusively, photos of the two of them embracing are known to exist. An example can be viewed HERE.
Whether or not Slatzer's claim of Monroe's knowledge of recovered crashed flying saucers is true is a completely different matter. Slatzer passed away in 2005.
It should be noted that people who subscribe to the belief that Marilyn Monroe was suicided over her knowledge of extraterrestrials also tend to subscribe to the belief that such information also played a large role in the assassination of JFK.

ALIENS: WHY ARE THEY HERE; WHAT DO THEY WANT?
Recently, I received a very interesting email from one of our readers. Here is what she asked me:
"As people around the world try to prove the existence of UFOs, I am curious about why creatures of other worlds want to find us. No one seems to address this question."
"We seem fixed on only seeking proof that UFOs exist and that we have been and are being visited. If any intelligence can travel great distances through space to find other worlds, they must have a reason."
"I ask because if we had the technology to do so, we would certainly have cause to find other worlds. So I ask for your expertise. Can you think why they're here, and what do they want of us?"
SEARCHING FOR AN ANSWER
I wish that I had the answer to her thought-provoking question. I do not, but I would like to offer some opinions. I have thought about these questions many times, and I believe all of us would are looking for an answer.
If we look back at recorded history, movies, books and various interpretations of ancient civilizations, we find a number of scenarios offered as to why an alien race might want to visit or have already visited planet Earth. Those who believe that we have already been visited, must ask themselves, "Are they coming back, and if so, when?" Many of these theories are still being explored by today's researchers. Here is what a lot of Ufologists believe:
POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS
1) Possibly another race might want one or some of our resources, something that their planet has expended, and is essential to their continuing existence.
2) Maybe they simply want to make contact with another planet for friendly or educational reasons.
3) Possibly their planet is dying and they need an entire new planet to live on, which of course, implies a possible end of life as we know it.
These are just a few of the many possibilities.
MANKIND'S QUEST
Since the dawn of time, man has looked to the heavens in wonderment. As he watched the night skies, he wondered about the many stars and other atmospheric phenomena he may have seen. What are they? How far away are they, do other people live on the stars?"
When he watched birds fly across the sky, he must have asked himself, "What if I could fly?"
When modern man finally understood the very basics of flight, he must have wondered, "How far can a plane fly, how fast can it go?
"Is it possible that we could journey to the Moon, or Mars, or other planets?"
As radio communication advanced, we began to wonder, "How far can we send a radio message?"
We pondered the possibility that if there was life somewhere else in the Universe, and we could send a radio signal far enough to contact another race, would they respond to us?
As far as proving that UFOs exist, we must consider that there are many UFO reports of vehicles able to maneuver at speeds far beyond our current capability. For theoretical purposes, let us assume that there are indeed vehicles from other worlds visiting Earth. We have to wonder why they have not contacted us directly, or "have they?" and we, the common man have no knowledge of it.
It is important to consider the fact that if UFOs are real, we do not know for certain that they come from mind-boggling distances from our planet. It is possible that they are from another dimension, or our future.
Regardless of where they come from, the question still stands: "Why are they here, and what do they want?"
TO SEARCH OR NOT TO SEARCH
Numerous times I have wondered if it was such a good idea to attempt contact with an extraterrestrial race. Many have gone full-force, head-long into attempting to make contact, seemingly without considering the many ramifications. Is simply knowing the truth worth the risk involved?
If we believe in the many accounts of alien abduction, we must surmise that their intentions are not of a positive nature. What if an aggressive, warring race heard our signal? What if they were looking for a people to enslave for their own selfish reasons? Are alien abductions just a probative entry level to full blown contact?
If they have heard our signal, we have given them a road map to our planet, and assuming they are technologically advanced, they could simply set a course for Earth.
On the other hand, maybe they would be a benevolent society with answers to our many questions; solutions to many of our greatest problems here on Earth. That is the conundrum.
Should we have taken that chance? Is it already too late?. Possibly even now, they are making their plans for a full-scale invasion of Earth.
City colleges are going UFO mad this term, with their X-Files style courses on close encounters.
Centres in Hodge Hill and Ladywood are both offering the fascinating night-school classes, with subjects including captured aliens, crashed spacecraft and things that go bump in the night:
"We try and keep things semi-scientific, and we look at all aspects - it's not all one-sided," said John Barklam, course tutor at The
Mirfield Centre in Hodge Hill.
"We start with the nuts and bolts of the UFO scene, then look at channelling, the Roswell Incident, government conspiracies, and we get all sorts coming along - dyed in the wool fanatics, as well as
people who think it's all rubbish - it's not all anorak types."

The researchers at the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) are confident that contact with intelligent alien civilizations may soon be a reality.
A senior astronomer at the organisation, Seth Shostak, in a research paper published five years ago, pointed out humans would soon realise the existence of other life forms existing within our universe, inside a span of 20 years.
Following the reported sighting of an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) above the Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico in February, a more recent report of a crash in South Carolina in the U.S. raises more doubts and questions over the possibility of alien life. In the same vein, this report quotes residents from a farming community in Stephenville, Texas, eager to share their experiences.
"I think there's a good chance that there's life in our galaxy. With so many habitable planets, it's hard to imagine that there wouldn't be. And I think that at some point we'll probably discover it," believes Bill Borucki, a planetary astronomer at NASA Ames Research Center.
Meanwhile, the National UFO Research Center has made available a list containing all UFO sightings in the U.S.A since 1930.
What is of interest to researchers working in this field is that there are rumors gathering strength that there may actually be an alien attack by the end of this year. These rumors seem to come from the fact that there has been a general increase in suspected UFO activity recently.
Most nations have apparently agreed that UFOs have been spotted over their territory at some point or the other. In addition, most researchers agree that while there may not be tons of information on the subject, much of it has been kept classified for fear of creating global hysteria.
The famous Roswell incident of 1947 was perhaps the moment when the idea of UFOs caught the public's attention. Since then, there has been little to either prove or discredit the theory. There is, for what it may be worth, this report from the U.S.'s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that makes interesting reading.
Finally, as an interesting aside, the Mutual UFO Network has reported as many as 200 sightings from the states of California, Colorado and Texas and a poll carried out in the U.S. showed a dramatic increase in UFO sightings.
