Put very simply Marilyn Monroe was a close friend of American investigative journalist Dorothy Kilgallen and that in itself would have attracted unwelcome attention especially from those with agenda's, agenda's of the sort best not delved into too deeply. Its been alleged that Dorothy Kilgallen heard whispers of the 1954 CUC from a very high ranking British official and Marilyn then unfortunately got to hear of the crash probably through her friend Kilgallen. Information of this sort was best not spoken about remember by then it was the 1960's decade of Cold War and conspiracies definitely not the era to have messed with the US government or any government come to that, its men in blacksuits or grey were "unlicensed" to...shut you up!
Marilyn Monroe was found dead on 5 August 1962, Dorothy Kilgallen died on 8 November 1965. So, for you "armchair" conspiracy fans out there there is plenty of Monroe/Kilgallen material on the web for you to pick over. Happy digging!
