ROBERT DEAN, A LONG-TIME FIGURE WITHIN THE FIELD OF RESEARCH INTO ALL THINGS FLYING AND SAUCER-SHAPED, MAINTAINS THAT WHILE WORKING WITH THE NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION (NATO) IN THE 1960S, HE LEARNED THAT NATO HAD CONDUCTED A SECRET STUDY OF THE UFO ISSUE.
MORE CONTROVERSIALLY, DEAN SAYS THAT PART OF THE STUDY DEMONSTRATED THAT, AT THE TIME IN QUESTION, NATO HAD COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT WE HAD FOUR DIFFERENT CIVILIZATIONS - CULTURES, INTELLIGENCES, IF YOU WILL - THAT WERE PRESENT HERE ON EARTH AND THAT WERE SECRETLY VISITING US AND EVEN INTERACTING WITH US.
One of the most interesting conclusions of the report, and which struck a particularly strong chord with Dean, was that one of the groups - of the civilizations or cultures that were here on this planet - was identical with us; or rather, that we were identical with them. And that startling revelation, added Dean, made a vast and profound impression on the people involved in the investigations.
In 1994, Dean gave a lecture before an audience at the Civic Theater, Leeds, England, during which he elaborated upon his knowledge of the human-like aliens said to be present in our very own environment. Dean revealed that so similar to us was at least one race of extraterrestrial that "they could sit next to you in an airplane or in a restaurant in a coat and tie or a dress and you would never know. They could be sitting next to you in a theater like this."
Most alarming of all, however, were the ramifications that all of the above reportedly caused amongst the highest echelons of NATO. "Back in 1964," stated Dean, "this was a matter of great concern to the admirals and generals at SHAPE Headquarters in Paris. Some of the discussions which went on in the War Room were kind of frightening and some of them were rather amusing. One officer said: 'My God, man, do you realize that these [aliens] could be walking up and down the corridors of SHAPE Headquarters and we wouldn't even know who the hell they were?'"
Robert Dean is not alone in making such amazing claims; and neither are they confined to the heart of NATO.
Now well into her eighties, Marion Shaw worked deep within the Pentagon during the 1950s as a secretary with a high-security clearance. While there, she rubbed shoulders with some profoundly significant and well-known figures in the military arena of the day. She also heard a tale or several eerily similar to those related by Robert Dean.
According to Shaw, she was allegedly involved in the preparation of several classified reports on "flying saucer stories," one of which referred to deep concerns expressed by the military that very human-appearing aliens had infiltrated certain elements of the U.S. Government. No-one seemed quite sure why, however, since there was apparently no concerted effort on the part of the allegedly human-like extraterrestrials to subvert or jeopardize the orderly, day-to-day operations of the U.S. infrastructure. Rather, it seemed, the aliens were there merely to observe - albeit in an overwhelming clandestine fashion.
We would do well to remember that in a world where popular-culture, TV, movies and the Internet have led most people to perceive aliens as small, diminutive creatures with large heads, huge black eyes, and spindly bodies - however outlandish and outrageous it may seem - our presumed other-worldly visitors may actually look just like us.
Who knows? Maybe some of" us "are actually "them"...
And, if the stories "are" true, then perhaps such infiltration is not limited solely to the world of government. Maybe the field of Ufology has, itself - in a fashion utterly unknown to most of us - been infiltrated by human-appearing, cosmic characters, too. Now "that" would be a revelation!
UFO Recovered at Roswell
The Roswell UFO Incident involved the recovery of materials near Roswell, New Mexico, USA, in July 1947, which have since become the subject of intense speculation, rumor, questioning and research. There are widely divergent views on what actually happened, and passionate debate about what evidence can be believed. The United States military maintains that what was recovered was a top-secret research balloon that had crashed.
By the early 1990s, UFO researchers such as Friedman, William Moore, Karl Pflock, and the team of Kevin Randle and Don Schmitt had interviewed several hundred people who had, or claimed to have had, a connection with the events at Roswell in 1947. Additionally, hundreds of documents were obtained via Freedom of Information Act requests, as were some apparently leaked by insiders, such as the disputed "Majestic 12"? documents. Their conclusions were that at least one alien craft had crashed in the Roswell vicinity, that aliens, some possibly still alive, were recovered, and that a massive cover-up of any knowledge of the incident was put in place.
"The many rumors regarding the flying discs became a reality yesterday when the intelligence office of the 509th [atomic] Bomb Group of the 8th Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc through the cooperation of one of the ranchers and the sheriff's office of Chaves County," said Lt. Warren Haught, public information officer. "The flying object landed on a ranch near Roswell sometime last week. Not having phone facilities, the rancher stored the disc until such time as he was able to contact the sheriff's office, who in turn notified Jesse A. Marcel, of the 509th Bomb Group intelligence office."
Haught's statement caused an immediate media sensation, and later that day a bold headline in the Sacramento Bee proclaimed, "Army Reveals It Has Flying Disc Found on Ranch in New Mexico."
A subsequent press conference was called, during which the military claimed that the crashed "flying disc" was actually a weather balloon. To back up the claim, officials produced debris from the balloon, which seemed to strengthen their story.
The military's explanation did not sit well with many people, including nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman. In 1978, Friedman interviewed Maj. Jesse Marcel, a soldier who had been involved in the recovery of the "balloon." During the interview, Marcel said that the recovered debris he saw was "not of this world."
Eleven years later, the claims gained even more steam when former mortician Glenn Dennis came forward and announced that alien autopsies had been conducted at the Roswell base.
Unable to ignore the media hype, the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force launched an internal investigation into the Roswell incident. In a 1995 report, the agency announced that the "weather balloon" they had recovered was actually a high-altitude balloon that was intended to detect bomb waves from atomic bomb and ballistic missile tests. In regard to alien autopsies, a second report was later released, in which officials stated that the alien bodies were actually those of dead soldiers and test dummies. The confusion about the autopsies was blamed on psychological effects.
Regardless of the government's attempts to debunk reports of the alien craft and autopsies, many UFO proponents continue to downplay the reports, opting to believe that a cover-up still exists.

"Nine university scientists gaped upwards at the gigantic, prehistoric pyramid that had no right to exist"
A team of daring Chinese researchers, digging into the ancient mysteries of the origin of their country, have come to the inescapable conclusion that 12,000 years ago an interstellar, supreme alien race used much of the northern and central Chinese regions as massive Earth bases.
"Hundreds of strange pyramids cover parts of China"
One such base may be the astonishing pyramid structure that sits near the apex of Mount Baigong in the western province of Qinghai, the Xianyang pyramid.
China is the focus of legends, myths and stories of alien visitations and many of them center on the Xianyang pyramid.
Local villagers claim their distant ancestors spoke of sky great ships that navigated the heavens and used the pyramid as a landing, refueling and resupply site.
ET origins investigated
The hypothesis regarding extra-terrestrials is "understandable and worth looking into, [but] scientific means must be employed to prove whether or not it is true," Yang Ji, one of the scientists and a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences explained to reporters.
While the scientific exploration team agrees, all indications are that aliens used the giant structure as one of its primary Earth bases.

The anomalous pyramid rises almost 200 feet above the countryside-the surrounding area littered with mystifying pipes, bizarre artifacts and unworldly odds and ends.
China's state-run Xinhua agency sent a nine man team to investigate the pyramid and report back on their findings.
The team discovered pipes running from the caves and deep into the ground slanting down into the earth...towards what?

The agency tersely says: "The pyramid has three caves with openings shaped like triangles on its facade and is filled with red-hued pipes leading into the mountain and a nearby salt water lake."
Above the caves are dozens of pipes-all of various diameters-that mysteriously run into the mountainside beneath the towering pyramid. All the pipes match the color of the surrounding rocks, a murky reddish-brown.

Elsewhere, more pipes, many lying shattered are scattered littering the ground in every direction. Some of the pipes follow the bank of a salty lake while others dip into the water and plunge beneath the lake bed.

Although the pipes' purpose is officially classified as unknown, some of the Chinese scientists are leaning towards the idea that the structure truly is the remains of some advanced outpost or starbase.
The pyramid complex stretches out much farther than what is visible and evidence suggests a highly technological network of pressurized pipes supplying water and possibly fuels.
"Strange artifacts litter the pyramid site"
Since the ancient site dates from at least 10,000 BCE-and is perhaps twice as old as that-no humans could have engineered it as no serious human culture existed that long ago.
Qin Jianwen, the head of the publicity department of the Delingha government, says fragments of some of the pipe material were taken for analysis. The pieces were found to be mostly silicon dioxide and calcium oxide, although more than eight percent of the metal could not be identified.
"The large content of silicon dioxide and calcium oxide is a result of long interaction between iron and sandstone, which means the pipes must be very old," Liu Shaolin an engineer who did the analysis explained.
How old? Some are guessing 12,000 years...maybe much, much older.
Enigma wrapped in a mystery
That such structures exist fits neatly into the unofficial history of China-a history most scholars choose to ignore.
Some historians have called the early Chinese culture an "enigma wrapped in a mystery."
Tales of China's ancient days are crammed with stories about the "sky people" and the "god-men" who came from the stars using the Earth as a base for exploration. Along the way these beings taught some of the primitive peoples they met the basics of technology, engineering, farming, and the complex structure of the universe.
In the early years of the Twentieth Century two merchants from Australia crossed central China. Upon the vast plains they found more than 100 pyramids. Locals told the two men that the pyramids were very old-some much older than China.
Other younger pyramids dated to the reigns of the oldest emperors. Those rulers often spoke of extraterrestrials and civilizations on other planets like Earth. Some of the emperors even wrote that they were the progeny "of the sons of the sky, who had landed upon Earth in iron dragons."

Astonishing 'Dropa stones' may provide clue to Chinese alien bases
"Translation from the one of the 12,000-year-old Dropa stones": "The Dropas came down from the clouds in their aircraft. The men, women and children of the neighboring peoples (Ham) hid in the caves ten times before sunrise. When at last they understood the sign language of the Dropas, they realized that the newcomers had peaceful intentions..." [Translated from the language on the stones by the man who successfully deciphered them, Dr. Tsum Um Nui.]
The great Xianyang pyramid is only one of many mystery sites pointing to one or more advanced races interacting with the primitive peoples of Earth.
The famous "Dropa stones" also provide strong evidence for extended Earth visits from ancient astronauts.
The stones were found by Chi Pu Tei who led an archeological expedition to the bleak and windswept Baian-Kara-Ula mountain range in 1938. The range sits on the Chinese-Tibetan border and is home to many stories about ancient extraterrestrials mingling with Earth people.
While exploring a series of almost inaccessible mountain caverns last inhabited by crude primitives thousands of years in the past, the scientific team made an exciting discovery: some of the cavern walls were covered with pictograms depicting scenes of the Solar System.
What's more, somehow these ancient people had created a map of the heavens illustrating the Earth, sun, Moon and various stars connected with intersecting lines and dots.
Curiously the pictogram-maps almost resemble ancient trade routes or a guide for explorers.
Other pictograms illustrate frail beings with round helmet-like bowls on their heads.

But the team's excitement was just beginning. In one of the caves with the murals of the heavens they found a stone disc half-buried in the dirt. The disc had a thin spiral groove expertly cut into its face running from the center to the edge.
The disc they found measures about nine inches in diameter and roughly three-quarters of an inch thick. The center has a perfect hole that's three-quarters of an inch across.
Once they found the disc, Tei instructed his team to hunt for more. Eventually they dug up a veritable treasure trove. A total of 716 discs were found, some in pristine condition, others cracked or broken into pieces.
Upon later inspection, mysterious heiroglyphic symbols were found carved inside the grooves. Obviously the disc contained a motherlode of information of some kind.

Unfortunately, despite their potential importance, the discs languished for years in packing crates. They were buried and forgotten in the dusty storage area of a museum until Dr. Tsum Um Nui copied the writing from each of the surviving discs to paper.
Dr. Nui succeeds in deciphering 'Dropa stones'
The unknown heiroglyphs were so miniscule he could only read them with the aid of a powerful magnifier.
An expert at deciphering ancient languages, Nui worked diligently for many months to crack the language. Finally, he succeeded.
What he learned would change the known history of the world, if anyone listened. Few did.
The stones recorded an amazing story written at least 12,000 years ago by a fantastic people the world had forgotten.
The discs relate the voyage of the Dropa to Earth. How they crashed during their exploration of the planet and became marooned on Earth, a foreign world unknown to them. Their spacecraft was located in what later became known as the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains, part of the Himalayas.
Stranded, the lost travelers sought refuge in caves-the very caves Chi Pu Tei and his scientific exploration team had discovered the discs.
"The Dropas came down from the clouds in their aircraft," another disc said. "The men, women and children of the neighboring peoples (Ham) hid in the caves ten times before sunrise. When at last they understood the sign language of the Dropas, they realized that the newcomers had peaceful intentions..."
Yet another disc tells of the aliens having bulging heads and withered bodies. At first the tribe sent hunters to kill the invaders until the people found the strange beings meant no harm.
Villagers in the area still pass down the legends about the visitors that "came from the stars, long, long ago."
After deciphering as many of the discs as he could, Nui wrote a paper about the historic discovery for the Chinese Academy of Prehistory.
They refused to publish it. Although well-documented and no question of it being fraudulent, the editor of the journal told Nui that the world was not ready for such information to be known.
The Chinese authorities under Mao were also quite explicit in their reaction. They forbid the doctor from seeking to publish his paper outside of China or even to speak of the Dropa stones.
Despite the order, Nui did share the information with some close colleagues and eventually some of the story managed to leak out to the rest of the world.
Russian scientists join Dropa investigation
The Los Angeles Herald-Examiner published "Riddle of Asian Stone Discs from Outer Space" on February 26, 1967. The article focused on some Russian researchers who had been intently studying some of the Dropa stones.
"The Russians," wrote the Herald-Examiner, "who have examined some of the discs in a Moscow laboratory, claim to have made two important discoveries. One is that the discs contain certain traces of metal; particularly cobalt. Secondly, when placed on a special turntable they hummed in an unusual rhythm like an electrical charge was passing through them.
"The Russian Zaitsev, who has spent 30 years collecting evidence that intelligent beings from outer space have had contact with the earth, believes that the discs may give substance to ancient Chinese legends of small, gaunt, yellow-faced men who came down from the clouds many centuries ago."

There are very few scientists that believe star flight by humans can never be achieved. Many of them will point to very distant future, if we survive, where we may walk on other planets. That future has already happened on many planets... some maybe billions of years ago. Here are my ten reason UFOs are probably Extra-Terrestrial in origin. * The UFO witnesses:We have the most incredible witnesses who claim what they have seen is a craft doing exactly what a machine would do. We have fighter pilots. Astronauts, even a man who walked on the moon all claiming that something is here. We have witnesses on their deathbed who have reported spaceships and even the smell of the decaying alien bodies. We have excellent witnesses who have been aboard craft that seem to be solid hardware. We have witnesses who have been harmed by UFOs and have proof of the encounter. * The strategic positioning of these objects.We now know the military was alarmed for a long time at the recording of UFOs visually and on radar at all the major defense facility. These secret documents strongly suggest these object were extremely interested in our atomic bomb build-up and monitored and sometimes interfered with our nuclear missiles. This was not only happening here it was happening around the world.....UFO bases anyone. * Planetary ETs are a fact.Although the human race hasn't gone to the stars we are ETs. In seventy years we have visited practically every planet in our solar system. We have walked on the moon a few times. We have landed craft on the Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Phobos and Titan. We have tons of radar and other instrumentation that have reinforced the report of pilots who report seeing detailed craft not just lights. Solid object that return radar signals. One landings, of several craft, was witnessed by a whole family. We know that similar lights are seen and recorded that do not seem to be planetary craft. Some of what the UFOs seem to do makes you wonder if they aren't paranormal. This reaction, by us humans is so natural it has beenl predicted by visionaries and science fiction writers a like for over half a century i.e. - That alien technology would probably appear to humans as if it was magic. * Some UFOs produce nuclear radiation that has burned people and possibly killed them. This type of radiation implies technology. Radiation at UFO landing sites has been so well documented that in the MUFON field training they instruct you on how to use a Geiger counter. * UFO failure.UFOs have been witnessed and reported by hundreds if not thousands of people in different stages of failure while in flight. We have reports of object with flight characteristics of a troubled aircraft. We have these objects on fire, dropping chemical substance with sounds of grinding machinery and we even have crashes. This continuing example of what seems like failed technology indicates we are dealing with an imperfect but advanced species. * The need to go to the stars.It seems human beings have been called to the stars from the beginning of time. This need may be a part of the human intelligence, a driving force if you will, that can't be squashed even in low budget times. It seems to be part of survival and if you know the universe that need is always right on. Suns die and planets die. If there are intelligence like us they must have looked at the stars and said what is up there ten thousand years ago. So for me the theory that some UFOs are Extraterrestrial in origins seem to be backed by a great deal of powerful evidence. So at this stage in my life I have no qualms telling anyone that may ask.... I think UFOs are from the stars. STRANGE OBJECT PHOTOGRAPHED OVER KANSAS CITY MISSOURI

As described over the phone to ASD: I was outside early this morning and saw a bright object the size of a dime held at arms length in a gap in the trees. The object had red, blue, and yellow lights. It appeared to be a cylinder shape although I could not make out any structure - just the bright light or lights that appeared to be rotating and moving around. I watched for 20 minutes but needed to go back inside for my jacket and grabbed my Sony night shot camcorder. I was able to take video of the object for approximately 5 minutes. The HD video does no justice to how colorful it was... it was stationary for abut 20 min and then moved away toward the southwest. There was no sound whatsoever, and no wings, or red or green lights on wings, and no strobe light. A helicopter came in from the North but did not pursue the object. I could hear the helicopter but not the object. I got in my car and gave chase to the object, which at that time was at the top of the radio towers and headed Southwest. It was slow moving at first, then picked up speed. I estimate that it was approximately 1 mile away from me at first and may have been over the State Meadow Golf Course, then got further away. I could not catch up with it and lost sight of it. I work in Avitronics and am very familiar with aircraft. This object did not appear or behave like any aircraft I've ever seen. I would like to know if anyone else saw this and what your opinion is as to what it was.

From the snowy mountains to the deep ocean, many people claim to have witnessed or found evidence pointing to an "animal", which they believe it to be "undiscovered".
The science behind the study of unknown animals is called Cryptozoology. Here is a rundown of 10 mysterious animals that are said to reside in Asia. Part two coming soon.
1)Yeren
The Yeren (literally means "Wild Man" in Chinese) is said to be a primate-like creature that is found in the Hubei region of China.
Authorities there have records of up to 400 sightings since the 1920s. Since then, the local government has supported the locals on studies of this animal. Funding and support were given to scientists to find any concrete evidence of this animal. Till date, no one has ever done so.

2) Sigbin
The Sigbin is said to come out at night in the Philippines to suck blood from victims' shadows. People have said that it resembles a hornless goat with very long ears and a long tail used as a whip. It is also said to emit a nauseating odor, while walking with its head lowered between its hind legs.
The animal will seek children during Holy Week, to kill for their hearts. According to the locals, there are some powerful people who are able to control these animals and thus able to keep them as pets. If done so, the Sigbin is said to bring wealth and luck to its owners.
3) Bukit Timah Monkey Man
Commonly known as the BTM, this creature is said to reside in the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve in Singapore. Sightings of this animal are very rare. Most of the local accounts come from Malay folklore, sightings by Japanese soldiers during World War II and in recent years, from the local residents.
Recent local sightings state that it mainly comes out at night in the nature reserve, walking around, presumably looking for food. However, experts agree that this has been a case of mistaken identity; instead, the local sightings refer to the Rhesus Macaque Monkeys that dwell commonly in the area.

4) Con Rit
This monstrosity is said to dwell in the seas of the South East Asia region. Throughout the ages there have been numerous sightings of Con Rit. In 1899, there was a report that some sailors observed a sea monster that possessed an immense number of fins, and measured about 45 metres long. It managed to swim and keep pace with the ship for half an hour.

This is a legendary sea monster that is found in Japan. According to legend, Issie was a white mare which had a little foal, and they lived together on the shore of lake Ikeda. However, one day, the foal was kidnapped by a samurai.
Issie jumped into the lake to find her child, and in her despair she transformed into a giant, saurian beast, which since then frequently surfaces,trying to find her lost child.
This monster is described to be saurian in appearance, which means it looks like a reptile (probably a lizard). Saurians also included extinct dinosaur-like creatures.
6) Ahool
The Ahool is said to be a giant bat-like creature found in Indonesia. Others describe it as a flying primate or a living pterosaur.
It is described as having an ape-like head with large dark eyes, large claws on its forearms, and a body of gray fur. The most intriguing and astounding feature is that it is said to have a wingspan of 3 m. This is almost twice as long as the largest (known) bat in the world, the common flying fox.
Experts believe that the sightings of this creature are actually large Earless Owls.
7) Orang Pendek
Indonesian for "Short Person", this is supposedly a primate-like creature that dwells in the forests of Sumatra. It has been sighted and documented for at least the past hundred years. Sightings specify that this creature has short fur and stands up to 1.5 meters tall.
The most number of sightings occur within the Kerinci regency of central Sumatra and the borders of Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat. Some of the common characteristics of this animal reported by eyewitnesses include that it is largely herbivorous, is short legged with long arms, have been spotted in trees and underwater. Some people even claim to see it fly!

8) Phaya Naga
The Phaya Naga are said to be serpent-like creatures that live in the Mekong river in Laos. The Naga fireballs are attributed to these creatures.
Local Lao folklore states that the Phaya Naga are protectors of Vientiane and Laos. The myth of the Phaya Naga is incorporated extensively into Lao iconography and in Lao culture.
Experts believe that they could be overgrown giant mottled eels, a yet to be discovered species of eel or just methane.
9) Lake Tianchi Monster
This is the name given to a lake monster that dwells in Heaven Lake in Jilin Province of China and Pyanggang Province in North Korea.
